I jokingly said at work today, that I would start a blog about growing my beard out until the end of the year. Well, it’ll be really easy, and funny, so I’ll do it.

I started growing on November 1. While shaving on October 31, 2008, I decided I didn’t want to shave for the rest of the year. And here are the pictures to show the progress.

So here’s day one, with three days worth of growth.

Well, by the post date, it looks like I skipped the 4th, but really the picture from the third was taken at close to midnight…

Doesn’t look like much. But we’re going to have a mustache growing contest at work! Who can grow the best ’stache!

Missed a couple of days. Been way busy with school and other things.

I haven’t been doing so well keeping a photo everyday. But, watching a beard grow every day is not really all that exciting. I mainly wanted to do this to see if I could keep up with doing something regularly…

Notice I shaved the groat (throat growth). My dad, a long time beard wearer, advocates the groat shaving. Makes it look cleaner and feels better.
