Notice I shaved the groat (throat growth). My dad, a long time beard wearer, advocates the groat shaving. Makes it look cleaner and feels better.

    Agreed. Groat shaving and a little cheek trim is the only thing that separates the fine upstanding beard wearers in society and dangerous shut ins.
